I am fascinated by and so grateful for the pictures showing the color selection and arranging, and the fringing! Oh my.

My little nerdygirl has decided to learn to sew, so for Christmas she got a sewing machine. I haven't sewn since I was her age, since I lack the patience or talent for it, but I hope and dream that she can make treasures like yours someday. I'm linking her to your site for inspiration.

Your little relatives are so lucky to have you!Melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10114884092474969555noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4366730889144151619.post-40334442127155271352010-01-13T11:31:10.305-05:002010-01-13T11:31:10.305-05:00Thanks so much SWEET Mango! They were a bit of work, but i loved every second of it. ok, ripping out 6 feet of seams was not cool, but other than that, it was really fun! i love the sound and feel and hum or the machine, and i feel somehow connected to all the women i never knew who made quilts for my grandmothers family. I decided when i set out to make these that i would make one every 5 years for the rest of my life, sort of a long term project. Now that those are done I want to make another :) Who knows!leelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18270248444506772043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4366730889144151619.post-25492178445824781602010-01-12T16:11:22.139-05:002010-01-12T16:11:22.139-05:00O my goodness those are gorgeous!
